This week on A Bit Stranger (Wednesday, June 3, 4-6pm), I'll be joined by Jessica Wood, a graduate student from the Music Department here at Duke. Her dissertation is on the harpsichord in pop culture in the 1950s-70s, and as a result she's amassed a huge collection of crazy harpsichord music. I'm talking weirdo surf, garage, exotica, psychedelia, easy listening, and beyond, all of which involves harpsichord in some way or other. You can see some of the album covers here. So we'll be spinning all kinds of fun/ridiculous stuff. Tune in!
